If you’re ready to start using social media to make a baby memory account, and even printable baby books, then let’s talk about some of the reasons you should use Instagram to record your baby’s first year, and even beyond the first year.
To be honest, when I began thinking about opening up a social media account, to use for making memory books, Instagram wasn’t my first choice. Facebook was.
The way that Facebook is set up is perfect for the memory making accounts that I have in mind, however, the Facebook terms of service policy make it almost impossible to use Facebook in this way.
I was looking to open up a separate account to use specifically for the purpose of recording moments and markers of my daughter’s life and nothing else. I wanted to keep this separate from my own personal Facebook account. Facebook , however, will not allow you to have more than one personal account. Facebook does allow for you to have a business account, but that’s not the place for you babies memories.
After doing some research on Instagram I settled on Instagram to start. In the future, we may work with other social media platforms as well, but for now, let’s get an Instagram account set up to store baby’s ( or any other type of) memories.
If you already have an Instagram account don’t worry, Instagram allows each person to have up to five different personal accounts, and to switch between them. Making it perfect for this memory keeping purpose.
